About Us
Thirty years ago when we started our business importing Dutch novelty flowers, we decided to focus on two things, flower quality and service. Over the years, our 'business in a garage,' The Connection Wholesale Florist, grew, serving flower shops in Fort Worth and Dallas.
Along the way we moved toward a new concept in flower sales and opened bucket shops in Austin and San Antonio. And, in 2007, with the purchase of our 7th Street property, we combined our wholesale and retail flower experience in a casual, fun location in the city's vibrant cultural district.
When you visit The Flower Market on 7th Street today, you will see what we learned and what we love about the flower business. You will see customers choosing flowers, a few stems or a few bunches, to take home or to the office, and brides and floral designers with their notebooks and photos, planning weddings.
We still focus on quality flowers and personal service. And, much to our delight, the second generation has now joined the family business, adding their energy and vision to our journey.
Our Cooler
We have a 1,600 square foot cooler filled with flowers year round. We invite you to browse our cooler for event inspo, gifts, or even beat the heat! Our coolers are kept between 35 and 40 degrees to keep the flowers in a dormant stage. These temperatures ensure your flowers will last!
